I’m glad I
have some time for blogging! How’s life, you all? I have had an awesome week! Something
quite cool happened to me!
But first I
like to show you my outfit. I am wearing the MANGO-trousers I bought in
Amsterdam. I’m really in love with it. The leather jacket is from a little Italian
boutique in Goes. The black trousers have a white blobs-and-splashes print. I
think the cool yellow jacket finishes the look.
Well, what happened to me. One boring school day I was called by Ineke Otte. I had no idea who called me. She explained she is a jewellery designer, and she had organized an exhibition to show her jewellery. She would like to have some live music during her exhibition, so she asked me to play my violin (if you ever have read my first post, you know I play the violin)!
I was
immediately interested! She would send me an email with an invitation. Well, when
I received it, and opened it, I saw some pictures of a-ma-zing jewellery! I scrolled down and read that she visits
fashion fairs in Tokyo, Dubai, New York, Manhattan and all over the world. She
even has won ‘Sherrif de la Mode’ awards in Paris for four times! I really got
overwhelmed! She asks me to play violin? Wow!
So, this
Friday I went to her home where the exhibition was. It was really fun! Besides
playing violin we chatted about her work, fairs and techniques and her power to
make jewellery. She doesn’t only design jewellery but also scarves, lampshades
and sculptures. She's a real artist! I was really interested, and I think she noticed that, so she
asked me if I liked to join a fair in Paris! I couldn’t believe it! I don’t know
this really comes true, cause it was just a remark she made, but who knows?!
I also have
visited her Saturday and next Friday is the third (and last) time I’m going to play violin
at her exhibition. After that, I want to spend a full post on my experiences
with Ineke Otte. I like to show you a little preview.

more? Visit her site!
Hope I can
post you soon!
Love,
Lucia
